Description
The new Savanna-La-Mar Police Station presents a critical opportunity to redefine the relationship between law enforcement and the community it serves.
The existing facility, being in a state of advanced disrepair, has compromised officer welfare and diminished public confidence. This new design aims to deliver a modern, cost-effective, and resilient civic building that restores dignity, improves functionality, and fosters trust.
A central courtyard is at the heart of the design. It improves ventilation and daylighting while serving as a shared space for circulation, brief respite, and visibility — reinforcing transparency and well-being in daily operations.
